Google is planning to create the largest electronic library

Reached the company "Google", and after seven years of judicial dispute, a settlement with the printing and publishing sector on American dispute over the company's plans to launch the largest electronic library in the world, as quoted by the newspaper "ambassador" of Lebanon.

The legal dispute began between the two sides, after starting the "Google" to digitize books intended to be included in the e-library, following the announcement of the project in late 2004, without the consent of their authors publishing and printing houses.

Did not reveal "the Association of American publishing houses" for details of the financial settlement reached with "Google", only pointing out that the settlement twofold one on the books that the "Google" has already digitized, and the other terms of the laws governing the process of digitizing the future.

And Chief Executive Officer, "the American Association of Publishers" Now Tom, that the settlement "is evidence that digital services can provide innovative ways to display the content, but with respect for property rights."

It remains on the giant search engines to find a settlement with the "Publishers Association" after failing to reach an agreement in the amount of $ 125 million in 2009, after the judge refused, calling it "inappropriate and not fair."
